PEARLS Community Events
Every year, the PEARLS team works hard to put on events that bring the community together to celebrate the work of PEARLS and the positive change, PEARLS girls and alumnae continue to make in the community. Some are fundraising events to continue supporting our mission and others are purely to gather the community and support our youth
Women’s Leadership Event with Bader Rutter, TEMPO, and PEARLS:

Direct Positive Documentary Screening & Discussion Panel
The Direct Positive film is born of a partnership between Bader Rutter, a Milwaukee-based advertising and marketing agency, and TEMPO, a membership organization dedicated to furthering the impact of women leaders. When the two organizations began working together, the goal was simply to refresh and build on the legacy of the TEMPO organization — to rebrand a long-standing organization for a new era.
But as they worked together, a bigger story emerged. Experiences demanded to be shared. TEMPO’s dedication to mentorship merged with Bader Rutter’s passion for sharing Milwaukee’s best stories. Direct Positive became our mutual passion project.
Please join PEARLS as we screen this film in community followed by a panel moderated by TEMPO President and CEO, and PEARLS Board Chair, Jen Dirks.
Complimentary food and free parking is available in Bader Rutter’s surface lot on a first-come, first-serve basis. Otherwise, street parking is available in the area.
Inspired to Lead 2025
Inspired to Lead (ITL) is our biggest fundraiser gala-style event — save the date for April 17th, 2025 at the Baird Center!
At ITL we honor the incredible founding women, PEARLS sisters, supporters, and partners who contribute to making PEARLS what it is today. Then we will celebrate the continuation of this legacy— PEARLS’ legacy in motion.

Summer Block Party
Every summer we throw a block party for PEARLS girls, families, neighbors and friends to gather for some good ol’ fashion fun. The block party is purely to bring everyone together to eat, play, dance and laugh in the beautiful Milwaukee summer.
